Responsibilities Manage a team of case specialists in order to collectively handle a high volume of personal injury cases from initial client intake through pre-litigation stages, ensuring timely follow-up and case progression Conduct thorough client interviews to gather detailed case information, medical histories, and relevant documentation using strong interviewing and communication skills Review and analyze legal documents, medical records, insurance policies, and other case-related materials Maintain accurate case files within legal case management systems like FileVine, ensuring all documentation is complete, organized, and compliant with firm standards Collaborate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and external counsel to facilitate settlement negotiations or prepare cases for litigation if necessary Draft clear and precise legal correspondence, summaries, reports, and documentation while proofreading for accuracy and consistency Utilize project management skills to prioritize tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and support the overall workflow of the law office Qualifications The position does not require a paralegal certification, but significant prior experience in the personal injury practice area will be given primary consideration. The successful candidate will have, first and foremost, a great attitude, a team-oriented perspective, and a desire to learn and grow within the industry of legal services. Additionally, the ability to speak a second language, such as Chinese or Spanish, will be given extra consideration for this position.
