With operations across North America, Europe, and Asia, VEVOR serves millions of customers through major retail partners including Amazon, Home Depot, Walmart, Lowe's, Costco, and its direct-to-consumer platform. As our U.S. business continues to grow, we are seeking a business-minded Corporate Legal Counsel to provide practical legal support across corporate governance, commercial transactions, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day business operations while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to support the Company's continued growth. Key Responsibilities l Provide legal advice on U.S. corporate, commercial, intellectual property, and regulatory matters. l Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts, vendor agreements, customer agreements, service agreements, NDAs, and other legal documents. l Advise internal business teams on U.S. federal and state regulatory compliance, including product compliance, commercial operations, advertising, data privacy (CCPA/CPRA), and multi-state business requirements. l Support intellectual property matters involving trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets. l Conduct legal research and provide practical legal recommendations to support business decisions. l Develop and maintain legal policies, compliance procedures, contract management processes, and legal record retention systems. l Coordinate and manage outside counsel on litigation, employment, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and other specialized legal matters. l Prepare legal memoranda, management reports, and presentations for executive leadership. l Partner closely with Sales, Operations, Product, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, and senior management to proactively identify and mitigate legal risks. l Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the Company's business and recommend appropriate actions. Qualifications l Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association (ABA)-accredited law school. l Active membership in good standing with one or more U.S. State Bars is strongly preferred. l Minimum five (5) years of legal experience as an in-house counsel and/or attorney at a U.S. law firm. l Strong experience in corporate law, commercial contracts, and business transactions. l Solid knowledge of U.S. intellectual property laws, including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret laws. l Practical experience with U.S. federal and state regulatory compliance, including CCPA, CPRA, product compliance, commercial operations, and cross-state business governance. l Excellent legal drafting, contract negotiation, legal research, and communication skills. l Familiarity with corporate legal operations, including legal record retention, privilege protection, outside counsel management, and executive legal reporting. l Strong analytical skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to translate complex legal issues into practical business solutions.
Pay:
$150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
