6+ Years Role Focus This is the senior-level version of Role 1. The focus remains commercial litigation, regulatory enforcement, and public law, but the candidate is expected to bring substantially more litigation experience, judgment, ownership, and ability to manage multiple workstreams. Key Practice Areas Commercial and corporate litigation Contract disputes Partnership disputes Shareholder disputes Governance matters Regulatory investigations State and federal enforcement Administrative proceedings Writ petitions Appellate matters Pre-litigation strategic counseling Key Responsibilities Manage significant litigation matters and case components. Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and substantive briefs. Lead and oversee discovery and motion practice. Participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations. Work directly with partners on litigation strategy. Develop legal analysis involving complex statutory and regulatory frameworks. Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and regulators. Manage multiple workstreams effectively. Work closely with associates, lawyers, and staff. Must-Have 6+ years litigation experience. State and/or federal court experience. Strong litigation drafting experience. Dispositive motion and discovery experience. Strong legal judgment and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple matters/workstreams. California Bar admission or ability to obtain admission promptly. Preferred Leading law firm, litigation boutique, or government practice background. Regulatory/government litigation experience. Public or administrative law experience. Judicial clerkship. Experience working with or mentoring associates
