Job Description
We are looking for an Immigration Staff Attorney to provide high-quality legal representation and guidance to immigrant community members in the North Bay area.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver immigration legal services to underserved community members through direct representation, case strategy, and client advocacy.
- Interview clients, assess case facts, and perform legal research to develop sound immigration case recommendations and filings.
- Provide community-based legal education, consultations, and brief service support through outreach clinics, intake events, and off-site service locations, including regular weekly coverage at a partner community organization.
- Maintain accurate case and program records to satisfy reporting obligations, ethical standards, outcome tracking, and organizational funding needs.
- Contribute to additional projects that support the growth and long-term success of the organization's immigration legal services program.
