FULL-TIME
attorney in San Joaquin and surrounding Counties. Will handle own case-load from beginning to end on
ALL CRIMINAL CASES
including misdemeanors and felonies. Must have experience in handling all types of criminal matters with ability to handle criminal cases from start to end. Must be willing to handle a heavy case-load. Client interaction a must. Responsibilities Represent clients in criminal cases, including arraignments, hearings, trials, and plea negotiations. Draft legal documents, motions, and briefs that clearly articulate client positions and legal arguments. Negotiate plea agreements with prosecutors to achieve favorable resolutions for clients. Advise clients on their rights, legal options, and potential outcomes at every stage of their case. Maintain meticulous case files and documentation in accordance with law office procedures. Experience Admission to the state bar and in good standing to practice criminal law. Proven experience handling criminal defense cases from start to finish. Excellent writing skills for drafting pleadings, motions, and correspondence. Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with opposing counsel and prosecutors. Familiarity with legal administrative processes within a busy law office environment. Experience in handling preliminary hearings and jury trials. Please submit cover letter, resume and contact info.
