Job Description

Ideal candidate is: Experienced with computers (Microsoft Office, Clio, Excel, Essential Forms, Westlaw/Lexis Nexis) Detailed orientated Professional and independent Good with clients Organized and self-motivated Ability to perform in a high volume, fast paced environment, with many deadlines.
Typical Duties:
Confers with clients regarding case status. Prepares correspondence and reports; conducts special studies and research as directed. Prepares a variety of legal documents including subpoenas, motions, declarations, responsive pleadings, points and authorities, declarations of disclosure, discovery responses, etc. Studies, researches, and interprets laws, court decisions and other legal authorities for use in the preparation of cases, opinions, and briefs; assists in case analysis. Briefs witnesses for trial, gathers and prepares exhibits and evidence for trial; assists attorney in preparation for court. Summarizes police reports; depositions, interrogatories, evidence, and other pertinent case files.
