Job Description

We're seeking a Bankruptcy Case Specialist with strong, hands-on experience in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases. You'll guide clients through the process from intake to discharge, prepare and file petitions and plans, and serve as the main point of contact with the trustee. Duties
  • Walk clients through the Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 process, from intake to discharge
  • Prepare and e-file petitions, schedules, and Chapter 13 plans
  • Communicate with Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 trustees on document requests and case status
  • Prepare clients for the 341 meeting of creditors and handle follow-up requests
  • Track deadlines, plan payments, and confirmation hearings
  • Maintain accurate case files and keep clients informed throughout Qualifications
  • Proven experience processing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases
  • Working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code and local court procedures
  • Experience communicating directly with trustees
  • Familiarity with petition software (e.g., Nex Chapter) and CM/ECF filing
  • Strong client communication and organizational skills If you have deep Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 experience and know how to keep a case moving from filing to discharge, we'd like to talk to you.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
