Job Description

About the Job One of our clients is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate to join their growing legal team in Castle Rock, Colorado. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for an attorney who is looking to handle meaningful litigation matters while working closely with experienced attorneys and clients. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of civil litigation experience, strong legal research and writing skills, and the ability to manage litigation matters effectively. Responsibilities Handle a variety of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents Assist with discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests Prepare for hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation proceedings Communicate with clients regarding case status, strategy, and legal matters Manage multiple matters, deadlines, and competing priorities Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff while also handling assigned matters independently Maintain strong attention to detail and provide high-quality client service Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in civil litigation J.D. from an accredited law school Colorado Bar admission and good standing, or eligibility for admission Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and professional judgment Ability to work independently and collaboratively Professionalism, integrity, and a client-focused approach Must be comfortable working in an on-site office environment Compensation & Benefits Medical, dental, and life insurance Short- and long-term disability coverage Employer-matched 401(k) with immediate vesting Paid time off and holidays Paid CLE Discretionary bonuses Additional tax-reportable benefits
Pay:
$125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
