In this role, you will leverage your legal skills to file an amicus curiae briefing with the US Supreme Court. Filing the brief may include writing and editing our current opinion, as we are not lawyers. Duties Provide comprehensive legal advice and counsel across multiple practice areas, including Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and International Law. Conduct thorough legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to inform case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations. Stay current on evolving laws and regulations affecting various practice areas through continuous research and professional development. Maintain meticulous records of case activities and ensure all legal administrative processes are followed efficiently within the law office environment. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in relevant jurisdiction. Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw and LexisNexis platforms to gather pertinent legal information swiftly. Excellent writing skills Proficiency in legal drafting techniques; able to analyze complex issues critically. Knowledge of negotiation strategies to facilitate favorable outcomes for clients. Legal administrative experience supporting efficient office operations within a busy law office setting.
