Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal specializing in Family Law to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support to attorneys by managing case files, conducting legal research, drafting documents, calendar management and assisting with client interviews. Your proactive approach and organizational skills will help ensure smooth case progression and excellent client service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal expertise within a collaborative and fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering exceptional legal support in family law matters. Duties Assist attorneys with preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and affidavits related to family law cases such as divorce, child custody, and support proceedings Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools on topics Manage case files Client interaction Coordinate project management tasks related to multiple family law cases while maintaining excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Experience Prior paralegal experience in a law office setting is required; 5 years experience in family law is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of legal administrative processes including document review, legal research, case management software (such as Westlaw or LexisNexis), and electronic filing systems A strong grasp of
C.R.C.P 16.2

Pay:
$62,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
