We are looking for an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join a growing law practice in Connecticut. This position offers the opportunity to advise clients on a broad range of real estate matters while working in an environment that supports a sustainable workload and a strong work-life balance. The attorney will play a key role in structuring transactions, reviewing leasing matters, and guiding clients through complex property-related legal issues.

Responsibilities:

Draft, revise, and negotiate commercial real estate agreements to support purchase, sale, development, and financing matters. Analyze lease documents, identify legal and business risks, and provide practical guidance to clients on leasing strategy and obligations. Manage commercial real estate closings from initial document preparation through final execution and post-closing follow-up. Counsel clients on transactional matters involving commercial properties and represent their interests throughout negotiations. Review title, survey, and due diligence materials to help assess transaction readiness and resolve outstanding issues. Conduct legal research related to real estate and contract matters and apply findings to client advice and transaction strategy. Active license to practice law in good standing. At least 3 years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions. Demonstrated ability to prepare and negotiate contracts with attention to legal risk and business objectives. Experience reviewing and advising on commercial lease agreements. Working knowledge of real estate closings, including documentation and coordination of key transaction steps. Strong legal research, analytical, and client counseling skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships professionally.
