Job Description

A growing regional law firm is looking to add a Family Law Partner to its expanding practice group as part of a strategic growth initiative. This opportunity is well-suited for an experienced matrimonial and family law attorney who has built a strong reputation, values client relationships, and is looking for a platform that supports long-term practice growth without unnecessary bureaucracy. The firm is seeking a partner-level attorney with an established portable practice of approximately $500K+ who is interested in joining a collaborative team with real momentum in the market. What You'll Be Doing Handling sophisticated matrimonial and family law matters from intake through resolution Advising clients on divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution, and complex financial issues Continuing to grow and strengthen your existing client relationships and referral network Working alongside firm leadership on the continued expansion of the practice and regional presence Mentoring and collaborating with attorneys across the office as the group continues to grow What the Firm Is Looking For 7+ years of experience in matrimonial and family law Portable book of business of approximately $500K+ Strong client service and relationship-building skills Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in growing a long-term practice Active Connecticut bar admission preferred, or ability to become admitted quickly through reciprocity/waiver Attorneys admitted in New York, New Jersey, or similar jurisdictions are encouraged to apply Why Attorneys Are Interested in This Opportunity Growing regional platform with strong leadership support Collaborative culture without excessive layers or internal politics Flexibility and autonomy to continue building your practice Opportunity to join during an active expansion phase Clear path for continued growth and influence within the firm This is an excellent opportunity for a partner-level attorney seeking a firm that values relationships, supports business development, and is committed to sustainable long-term growth.
