Our team is looking for a driven Litigation Attorney to join our growing practice.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Attorney to handle a diverse caseload. The ideal candidate will have experience managing files from inception through resolution with a strong desire to advocate for clients in the courtroom. This role focuses on matters involving Personal Injury, Insurance Litigation, General Litigation, Land Use and Real Estate Litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a full lifecycle of litigation cases in Personal Injury, Insurance Litigation, General Litigation, Land Use, and Real Estate Litigation. Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses. Conduct legal research on complex substantive and procedural issues. Represent clients in court appearances, motion hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials. Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts. Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and strategic counsel. Collaborate with partners, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Bar Admission:

Active license in good standing. A dual license in Rhode Island (RI) and Connecticut (CT) is strongly preferred. 2-4 years of civil litigation experience preferred. Experience in personal injury, insurance defense/coverage, or land use and real estate litigation is highly advantageous. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage a busy docket while adhering to strict deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary:

$90,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience.
