About the Opportunity A highly respected and rapidly growing plaintiff-side law firm in Connecticut is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join its team. This firm has built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional results and client service, and due to continued growth—not turnover—it is looking to add another skilled attorney to support an expanding caseload. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney seeking a long-term home with a firm that values autonomy, performance, and professional development. Position Overview The firm is seeking a self-sufficient Personal Injury Attorney with 5-8 years of experience who can manage cases independently from intake through resolution. The ideal candidate is confident in their abilities, requires minimal oversight, and is ready to make an immediate impact. Key Responsibilities Manage a personal injury caseload from inception through settlement or trial Conduct case evaluations, develop legal strategies, and advise clients accordingly Handle discovery, depositions, and motion practice Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel Prepare cases for trial and participate in litigation proceedings as needed Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal team members Qualifications 5-8 years of personal injury litigation experience (plaintiff-side preferred) Active Connecticut Bar admission (required) Admission in Massachusetts and/or New York is a plus, but not required Proven ability to independently manage a caseload Strong negotiation, litigation, and communication skills Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven What the Firm Offers Competitive base salary ($100K-$140K depending on experience) Comprehensive benefits package Supportive, team-oriented environment Steady pipeline of cases due to continued firm growth Long-term career opportunity with a stable and expanding practice Ideal Candidate Profile This role is best suited for an attorney who is not looking for a short-term move, but rather a place to grow and build a lasting career. The firm values individuals who take ownership of their work, operate with a high level of independence, and are eager to contribute to a thriving practice.
