Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our growing law firm. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of litigation experience, the ability to handle cases from inception to resolution, and have a desire to grow within the firm. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your legal expertise within a dynamic and collaborative law office environment. The Senior Associate Attorney will be responsible for managing diverse legal cases, conducting comprehensive legal research, and providing strategic counsel to clients. Duties Conduct thorough legal research utilizing tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development and legal analysis. Draft legal documents including pleadings, contracts, briefs, and memoranda with precision and clarity. Manage client cases from inception through resolution, ensuring compliance with all procedural requirements. Negotiate settlements and legal agreements effectively on behalf of clients. Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations across various areas of law including family law, landlord-tenant disputes, securities law, and more. Stay current on changes in laws and regulations pertinent to practice areas such as tribal law & regulations and environmental law. Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure high-quality legal services. Maintain meticulous records of case files and legal documentation within the firm's systems. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance legal skills such as legal drafting, research techniques, and courtroom advocacy. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar in good standing. 5-10 years of litigation experience in business litigation. Proven experience or strong interest in contract drafting, real estate, and construction law is preferred. Proficiency with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw. Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents. Strong negotiation skills capable of achieving favorable outcomes for clients. Legal drafting experience along with familiarity with legal administrative procedures. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team within a busy law office setting. Demonstrated research skills and attention to detail in handling complex cases.
