Job Summary A growing professional services team in Clearwater, FL is seeking a skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for a direct hire opportunity focused on complex tax compliance, tax resolution, and accounting support. • Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and business clients.
• Serve as the firm's designated Electronic Return Originator and oversee electronic filing workflows.
• Represent clients in tax resolution matters before the IRS and state taxing authorities.
• Collaborate with legal staff by providing specialized accounting, tax, and compliance support.
• Mentor staff accountants and guide team members pursuing CPA licensure.
• Manage deadlines, seasonal priorities, and regulatory requirements with minimal supervision.
