This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in diverse legal matters, from commercial and business litigation and family law to complex litigation and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset, excellent research and writing skills, and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients. As an integral part of our firm, you will contribute to delivering high-quality legal counsel while developing your professional skills in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools to support case strategies across multiple practice areas of the law Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, motions, pleadings, and client correspondence with precision and clarity. Assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing witnesses for depositions, and developing case strategies. Participate in court depositions, hearings, and other litigation proceedings to advocate effectively for clients. Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Negotiate settlements and legal terms on behalf of clients with professionalism and strategic insight. Maintain organized case files and proactively identify issues and solutions Experience J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the Florida Bar in good standing. 1-3 years of legal experience preferred, including litigation, clerkship, or relevant law-firm experience; strong newer attorneys will be considered. Interest or experience in commercial and business litigation, civil litigation, family law, and/or criminal law . Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Familiarity with Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and Florida court procedures. Ability to assist with pleadings, motions, discovery, legal research, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters. Professional, dependable, and responsive, with a willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned matters. Ability to work independently while also working closely with senior attorneys and the firm's support staff. Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, respectful approach to working with attorneys, staff, clients, and opposing counsel. :
