We are looking for an attorney who enjoys practicing law, takes ownership of their work, and is ready to play a meaningful role in a fast-paced and sophisticated practice. Our firm handles a variety of matters, including commercial and business litigation, civil litigation, contract disputes, family law, and other complex legal matters. The attorney will work closely with senior attorneys while taking meaningful responsibility for cases and client matters. Responsibilities Manage and assist with litigation matters from inception through resolution. Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues to develop case strategy. Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery, contracts, correspondence, and other legal documents. Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings. Assist with trial preparation and litigation strategy. Communicate directly with clients and provide professional, responsive guidance. Manage court deadlines, discovery, calendars, and case-related obligations. Negotiate with opposing counsel and participate in settlement discussions. Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff to effectively manage cases. Maintain organized case files and proactively identify issues and solutions. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active Florida Bar membership and good standing. Prior litigation experience, preferably in commercial, business, civil litigation, contract disputes, or family law. Strong knowledge of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure. Excellent legal writing, research, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication skills and professional judgment. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team. Experience with Westlaw, Clio, and Microsoft Outlook is a plus.
