Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with a strong interest in family law to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a diverse caseload from initial client intake through trial. You will work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts in all stages of litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle all aspects of family law cases including pleadings, discovery, hearings, mediations, and trials. Draft motions, petitions, proposed orders, and settlement agreements. Conduct client consultations and maintain regular communication with clients. Represent clients in court and mediation with professionalism and confidence. Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient case management and compliance with deadlines. Conduct legal research and stay current on Florida family law and procedural updates.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active membership and good standing with The Florida Bar. Exceptional writing, communication, and advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently. Compassion for clients navigating sensitive family issues.
