Confidential Employer. Job Description Represent businesses and individuals in Chapter 11 bankruptcy and restructuring matters. Advise clients throughout the Chapter 11 process from case strategy through plan confirmation. Draft bankruptcy petitions, motions, pleadings, disclosure statements, and reorganization plans. Appear before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for hearings and contested matters. Negotiate with creditors, trustees, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders. Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written advocacy. Develop strategic solutions for financially distressed businesses. Maintain regular communication with clients while providing practical legal advice. Collaborate with attorneys across business, litigation, and insolvency matters as needed. Qualifications Active Florida Bar license in good standing. 2+ years of bankruptcy law experience. Direct Chapter 11 debtor representation experience is required. J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. Strong legal writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Excellent organizational and client communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced practice.
