Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload that includes immigration law matters such as visas, asylum, deportation defense, and naturalization processes, as well as personal injury claims resulting from accidents or negligence. Conduct thorough legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and stay updated on relevant statutes and regulations. Draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, depositions, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity. Prepare clients for court depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings by developing compelling case narratives and organizing evidence effectively. Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel while maintaining a client-centered approach to achieve the best possible outcomes. Communicate clearly with clients regarding case developments, legal options, and procedural requirements to ensure they are well-informed throughout the process. Maintain meticulous case management records, adhere to procedural law standards, and ensure compliance with all legal administrative procedures. Experience Proven experience practicing immigration law and personal injury law with a strong understanding of procedural law knowledge and litigation processes. Demonstrated ability in legal negotiation, trial preparation, court depositions, and litigation strategies across general & commercial litigation contexts. Familiarity with estate planning, environmental law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, employment law case experience, statutory legal research, and employment law is highly desirable. Prior experience working in a law office environment with proficiency in legal case management systems is essential. Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms to support case development and legal counsel advice. Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and motions combined with effective client communication abilities. Knowledge of legal administrative processes including court filings, procedural rules, and motion preparation is required.
