We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney who is looking to build a long-term career in trusts and estates law. This position offers hands-on experience, mentorship, meaningful client interaction, and substantial opportunities for professional growth. Position Overview The Associate Attorney will work closely with the senior attorney in the areas of estate planning, probate administration, guardianship, and related matters. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, personable, and committed to helping clients through significant life transitions. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Active Florida Bar license and member in good standing 0-3 years of legal experience Strong writing, research, and analytical skills Excellent communication and client-relations abilities Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines Interest in developing a practice focused on estate planning, probate, and guardianship law and possibly expanding into litigation in those areas as well Responsibilities Meet with clients regarding estate planning, draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives, and meet with clients to review, explain, and sign documents Assist with probate and trust administration, Medicaid, and real estate closing matters Prepare pleadings, petitions, motions, and supporting legal documents for probate and guardianship proceedings Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, fiduciaries, and court personnel Attend hearings, client meetings, and administrative proceedings Maintain accurate case files and support case management throughout all phases of representation What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Paid time off and paid holidays Florida Bar dues and CLE reimbursement Flexible work/life balance-based firm Mentorship from an experienced estate planning and probate attorney who is board certified in Elder Law Opportunity for professional development and career advancement Supportive and collaborative work environment Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in helping clients preserve their legacies, protect loved ones, and navigate probate and guardianship matters with confidence.
