Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated, mission-driven, Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing personal injury cases, providing expert legal counsel to clients, and advocating vigorously on their behalf. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex legal processes, ensuring they receive the justice and compensation they deserve. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in personal injury law while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Duties Handle a mid-sized caseload of personal injury claims, primarily motor vehicle accidents. Conduct thorough legal research to develop and support case strategies. Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and client correspondence with precision and clarity Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to secure favorable outcomes Participate in court depositions, hearings, and mediations to advocate effectively for clients' interests Maintain detailed case management records and ensure compliance with procedural law requirements Collaborate with attorneys to ensure excellent case management and high-quality client service Qualifications Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-centered environment. Strong foundational understanding of the law. Experience in personal injury is preferred. Demonstrated ability to provide clear, client-focused Legal Advice and develop effective case strategies. Proficient in legal Research, including case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to personal injury practice. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Current admission to The Florida Bar and active license to practice in Florida is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organization. Commitment to community and client advocacy is highly valued. Submission of Drug Screening and Background Check required. We welcome candidates at all experience levels, from recent law school graduates to attorneys with substantial personal injury experience. Recent law school graduates who have not yet been admitted to The Florida Bar may be considered for a modified litigation support role, with duties and responsibilities tailored to their education, experience, and licensure status. Individuals serving in a modified litigation support capacity will not engage in the practice of law or perform duties requiring admission to The Florida Bar.
