The associate will draft filings and appear in superior courts, state courts, the Georgia State-wide Business Court, and United States District Courts. Work includes strategy, motions practice, discovery, depositions, trial preparation and trial, appellate briefing, and responsive client communication. Matters commonly involve real estate and development disputes, local government and land use issues, contract enforcement, fraud and fraudulent transfer litigation, and related commercial litigation. The expectation is ownership of work product, a desire to learn and develop, precise written advocacy, and courtroom competence.
