An established law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2-5 years of experience to handle commercial, government, banking, real estate, and business disputes through trial and appeal.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal filings.

Represent clients in Superior Courts, State Courts, the Georgia State-wide Business Court, and U.S. District Courts.

Develop case strategy and handle motions practice and discovery.

Conduct and defend depositions.

Assist with trial preparation and participate in trials.

Prepare appellate briefs and related filings.

Communicate effectively with clients regarding case status and strategy.

Take ownership of assigned matters and work product.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.2-5 years of litigation experience.

Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.

Experience with motions, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage matters independently while continuing to develop litigation skills.

Admission to the Georgia Bar is preferred/required.
