Business Litigation Position Overview A respected law firm in Savannah, Georgia is seeking a Business Litigation Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join its litigation practice. This attorney will handle a variety of business disputes from initial strategy through trial and appeal, with opportunities for meaningful courtroom experience and direct client interaction. Responsibilities Handle business and commercial disputes through all stages of litigation Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal filings Conduct discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare matters for trial Assist with litigation strategy and case development Prepare for and participate in trials and appellate matters Appear before Georgia Superior and State Courts, the Georgia State-wide Business Court, and U.S. District Courts Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy and developments Manage assigned matters and take ownership of work product Qualifications 2-5 years of litigation experience Experience with business disputes preferred Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and clients Desire to develop strong courtroom and trial skills Georgia Bar admission required Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Incentive eligibility Health and retirement benefits Georgia Bar dues CLE support All inquiries are confidential, please send updated resume to zac.sousek@gogpac.com
