Commercial Litigation Position Overview A growing law firm in Savannah, Georgia is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 2-5 years of experience to handle sophisticated commercial disputes through trial and appeal. This is an opportunity for an attorney who wants substantial responsibility, hands-on litigation experience, and continued professional development. Responsibilities Represent businesses and commercial clients in complex disputes Handle matters from case strategy through trial and appeal Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and appellate filings Manage discovery and conduct depositions Develop case strategy and prepare matters for trial Appear in Georgia Superior and State Courts, the Georgia State-wide Business Court, and U.S. District Courts Communicate directly with clients regarding litigation strategy and case developments Take ownership of assigned matters and work product Qualifications 2-5 years of commercial litigation experience Strong legal research and writing skills Experience with motions practice, discovery, and depositions Trial preparation or courtroom experience preferred Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability Strong communication and client-service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Georgia Bar admission required Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Incentive eligibility Health and retirement benefits Georgia Bar dues CLE support All inquiries are confidential.
