Description A respected boutique litigation firm focused exclusively on commercial and business disputes is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-5+ years of litigation experience to join its practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex litigation matters, a strong understanding of the litigation lifecycle, and the ability to manage cases through all phases of dispute resolution. This position offers significant client contact, substantive responsibility, and the opportunity to work on sophisticated business litigation matters. Responsibilities

+ Represent clients in a broad range of commercial and business litigation matters, including contract disputes, partnership and LLC disputes, shareholder disputes, and other business-related conflicts

+ Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including pre-suit investigation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal

+ Draft, review, and argue motions, briefs, pleadings, subpoenas, notices of filing, and other litigation-related documents

+ Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda on complex litigation issues

+ Propound and respond to written discovery, manage document production, and conduct document review

+ Take and defend depositions and participate in witness preparation

+ Develop case strategy and collaborate with partners on litigation matters

+ Attend court appearances, hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences

+ Maintain frequent communication with clients regarding case developments and litigation strategy

+ Accurately record billable time and comply with firm billing and timekeeping requirements using CLIO or similar practice management software Compensation & Benefits

+ Base salary: $150,000
