Posted August 24, 2026 Position Overview Take your corporate practice to the next level with a firm that provides sophisticated transactional work, entrepreneurial freedom, and a clear path to equity partnership. This opportunity is designed for an experienced corporate attorney seeking a long-term platform to expand their practice, advise growing businesses, and develop lasting client relationships. You'll work alongside accomplished attorneys across multiple disciplines while serving as a trusted advisor on complex business transactions and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead mergers and acquisitions, business transactions, restructurings, and other corporate matters from inception through closing.
Advise business owners, executives, and privately held companies on strategic legal and business decisions.
Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and other complex transactional documents.
Develop and maintain client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the corporate practice.
Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
Qualifications / Nice
to Have Must Have
J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission.
Significant corporate transactional experience in a law firm environment.
Experience leading mergers and acquisitions and complex business transactions.
Experience independently managing client relationships and legal matters.
Existing book of business or demonstrated business development success.
Nice to Have
Experience representing privately held, middle-market, or closely held businesses.
Experience mentoring junior attorneys.
Experience with private equity, financing transactions, corporate governance, or succession planning matters. Benefits
- Base compensation: $235,000 - $300,000
- Additional compensation through income origination and income allocation
- Annual profit-sharing contributions historically ranging from $10,000 - $28,000

Non-Equity Partner:
Generally targeted toward attorneys with a portable book of business of $250,000+.
Equity Partner:
Generally targeted toward attorneys with a portable book of business of $750,000+.
Attorneys with smaller books of business who possess a strong desire to grow their practice are encouraged to apply.
