Responsibilities Conduct client consultations to assess legal needs, provide strategic guidance, and develop effective solutions. Maintain regular and responsive communication with clients, ensuring every interaction reflects the firm's commitment to exceptional service and client satisfaction. Draft, review, and finalize a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, contracts, trusts, wills, and other legal instruments. Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings while effectively advocating on their behalf and complying with applicable court rules and procedures. Manage cases from inception through resolution with attention to detail, deadlines, and client objectives. Collaborate with fellow attorneys and staff to provide high-quality legal representation and achieve successful outcomes. Stay current on developments in Illinois law and legal practice to ensure clients receive informed and effective counsel. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active admission to the Illinois Bar, or pending admission for recent law graduates awaiting licensure. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to professionalism, client service, and ethical legal practice. Ability to work on-site in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and Smokeball is preferred. Spanish language proficiency is a plus. Compensation Botto Gilbert Lancaster offers a competitive compensation package consisting of a base salary and a performance-based incentive program. In addition to annual compensation, attorneys have the opportunity to earn a percentage of realized fees generated from assigned cases.
