The ideal candidate will have an interest in the areas of federal estate, gift, Generation-Skipping, and fiduciary income tax. The candidate will have immediate and direct client interaction, assisting clients and their other advisors with estate and trust administration matters. ...
Responsibilities:
Drafting court pleadings, proposed Orders, and Notices. Sending and receiving correspondence to/from clients. Meeting with clients. E-Filing pleadings and motions electronically with the Court. Reviewing real estate records, financial records, and income tax returns regarding a decedent?s assets. Preparing accountings and funding calculations. Advising clients regarding federal estate, gift, Generation-Skipping, and fiduciary income tax matters. Preparing gift and estate tax returns.
Working hours:
8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Skills:
Experience in estate planning, real estate, corporate, and non profit is helpful but not required.
Education:
Doctorate Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in the state of Indiana.
