Job Description

CLEVELAND LEHNER CASSIDY

is seeking a motivated and compassionate Associate Attorney to join our litigation practice, with a focus on plaintiff-side employment law. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful client contact, hands-on litigation experience, and the opportunity to advocate for individuals facing workplace discrimination.

Responsibilities:

Represent plaintiffs in employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, breach of contract, and other employment-related claims. Conduct client interviews and consultations and develop case strategies. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, demand letters, settlement agreements, and other legal documents. Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, contracts, and case law. Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, jury trials, and other court proceedings. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties. Manage an assigned caseload from intake through resolution. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide high-quality, client-centered representation.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school.

Admission to the Indiana Bar and in good standing.

Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and competing priorities.

Strong commitment to representing individuals and protecting clients' rights.

Prior litigation and/or employment-law experience preferred.
