This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned paralegal with a strong background in family law litigation to play an integral role in establishing and supporting the firm's Lafayette office. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive paralegal support throughout all stages of family law matters Assist attorneys with case preparation, pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation Prepare and organize legal documents, exhibits, and case files Conduct legal research and assist with drafting correspondence and legal documents Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties Assist attorneys with hearings, mediations, and trials Manage case calendars, deadlines, and court filings Maintain accurate and organized case records Provide additional litigation and administrative support as needed Qualifications 3+ years of paralegal experience Strong experience in family law litigation Prior experience supporting attorneys through litigation, hearings, and/or trials Strong knowledge of family law procedures and court processes Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Compensation & Benefits $50,000-$70,000 annual salary, depending on experience Twice-yearly bonuses based on firm performance 401(k) with 3% employer match Health, dental, and vision insurance Employer-provided life insurance Confidential mental health services paid for by the firm Paid vacation Paid holidays Paid sick leave Discovery, Civil Litigation, Trial Preparation, Case Management Software, Litigation, Family Law Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
