The Goldberg Law Group, PC is dedicated civil litigation firm located in the heart of Hyannis. We have fought aggressively for 40 years for individuals injured in motor vehicle collisions, premise liability matters, dog bites death claims, trucking accidents workplace injuries an other negligent claims. We pride ourselves on maintaining a collegial, collaborative environment where every team member is lauded. Unlike large Boston firms where young lawyers are often relegated to the back room to review documents, we believe in immersive training, early court exposure, and direct client interaction.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and empathetic recent law graduate to join our personal injury practice as an Associate Attorney. this is an excellent opportunity for a newly minted lawyer or an individual awaiting Massachusetts bar exam results who is eager to build a meaningful, long-term legal career on Cape Cod and/or the South Coast. You will work directly with a senior partner who is committed to mentoring you through every phase of civil litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a personal injury caseload from initial intake through settlement or trial.
  • Identify & build value of claims and the drafting settlement demands pre-litigation.
  • Conduct pre-litigation settlement negotiations
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive cases memoranda.
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and arbitrations alongside senior counsel (and independently, once barred).
  • Communicate directly and empathetically with clients, medial praoviders, and insurance adjusters.
  • Assist in trial preparation and participate in courtroom proceedings.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
