Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented P.I. (Personal Injury) Associate Attorney to join our dedicated legal team. Associate Attorney, you will be instrumental in conducting legal research, filing claims and negotiating settlements, managing case files, preparing court motions and supporting trial preparation. Duties Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies Draft and review legal documents including briefs, demands, complaints, releasesm contracts, motions, pleadings, and discovery requests with precision and clarity Manage case files efficiently using legal case management software while maintaining meticulous records of all case activities Prepare for court depositions by organizing evidence, drafting questions, and coordinating witness preparation Assist and/or lead trial preparation by developing case summaries, exhibits, and legal arguments to ensure readiness for courtroom proceedings Communicate effectively with clients to gather information, provide updates, and explain legal procedures in an understandable manner Support attorneys and/or lead negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions by providing relevant legal insights and documentation Skills Knowledge of and ability to learn and develop skils in procedural law and experience with litigation processes across general & commercial litigation and personal injury law Proven ability in legal drafting including contracts, motions, pleadings, and discovery documents Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential for client interactions and courtroom advocacy Familiarity with court depositions, trial preparation techniques, and legal motion procedures Ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated strong organizational skills Commitment to ethical practice standards with a focus on thoroughness and attention to detail Strong self-drive and ability to work with minimal on-hands supervision.
