We guide clients through divorce, custody, support, and the full range of family law matters. Our approach is practical and results-focused: we listen carefully to each client's story, settle when settlement serves them, and try the case when it doesn't. Our clients are often navigating the hardest chapter of their lives, and we never lose sight of that. Our growing practice is looking for an experienced family law attorney who can step in and manage cases from intake through trial with a fair amount of autonomy. Responsibilities Manage your own caseload independently, from initial client meeting through trial and post-judgment matters First-chair hearings, motions, pretrial conferences, and trials in the Probate and Family Court Develop case strategy and counsel clients directly on their options and likely outcomes Handle discovery, depositions, and settlement negotiations Participate in the firm's marketing and business development through networking, bar activities, and community presence Serve as a mentor and resource for junior team members Who We're Looking For 3-8 years of family law experience, with meaningful courtroom and trial experience Licensed to practice in Massachusetts and in good standing Able to handle cases with minimal supervision — you own the file and the client relationship Strong writing, negotiation, and client communication skills A portable book of business is a plus (and rewarded — see below), but not required Genuine interest in marketing yourself and the firm How We Treat Clients Culture fit matters to us as much as credentials. Our clients get straight answers, responsive communication, and strategy built around their goals. We're compassionate without being soft, and aggressive without being reckless. Success is defined by an outcome that meets the client's reasonable expectations. We are not driven by churning fees from each case. If that's how you already practice, you'll fit right in.
