Position Overview The Corporate Attorney will support the Legal Department in providing practical, business-focused legal guidance across the organization. This role assists with contract drafting and review, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and cross-functional legal support. The Attorney will work closely with internal stakeholders-including procurement, engineering, operations, HR, and executive leadership-to ensure the company s activities align with legal requirements and industry best practices. This position is ideal for a recent law school graduate or early-career attorney eager to develop expertise in corporate, commercial, and energy-sector legal matters. Primary Responsibilities Contract Review & Drafting
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, including NDAs, vendor contracts, service agreements, and customer contracts. Corporate Governance
- Support maintenance of corporate records, board materials, resolutions, and compliance filings. Regulatory Compliance
- Conduct research and support compliance efforts related to energy storage, safety, environmental regulations, and industry standards. Risk Management
- Identify potential legal risks and propose mitigation strategies to internal stakeholders. Cross-Functional Legal Support
- Provide guidance to teams such as HR, procurement, engineering, and operations on routine legal questions. Policy Development
- Assist in drafting and updating internal policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks. Legal Research
- Conduct research on statutes, regulations, case law, and industry trends relevant to the company s operations. Outside Counsel Coordination
- Support management of external legal resources, including gathering information and coordinating responses. Document Management
- Maintain organized, accurate, and accessible legal files and contract repositories.
