Estate Planning Attorney

Our client a small, collegial law firm located in Bethesda, Maryland, is seeking an associate or senior attorney with at least 4-5 years of experience in trusts, estates, amd probate.

Firm is looking for someone with a level of expertise to handle sophisticated estate planning, oversee administration of trusts, and lead probate proceedings from initial filing to final distribution. Candidates must have empathy and patience as you will be working with people at their most vulnerable.

You must be licensed in Maryland. The position is in-office. Full-time or part-time would be possible, depending on the candidate. Inquiries will be kept confidential.

Skills

• 4-5 years' experience with Trusts and Estates (Probate) and Estate Planning.
• Extensive knowledge of estate planning, business law, real estate law.
• Knowledge of legal document systems such as Clio and Microsoft Suite.
• Proven experience in legal research using LexisNexis.
• Strong skills in sophisticated estate planning, overseeing administration of trusts, and leading probate proceedings from initial filing to final distribution.
• Effective client communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail and organizational standards.
