Position Overview:

As a Personal Injury Attorney, you will handle a diverse caseload of car accident cases and manage a team of 2 support staff. We are looking for candidates with personal injury law experience; however, we are also open to training attorneys with a background in defense law or recent graduates who have some personal injury experience. This role offers an opportunity to grow professionally within a dynamic and supportive firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Case Management:

Manage a caseload of car accident cases from initial consultation through resolution. Ensure timely and effective handling of all aspects of the cases.

Client Representation:

Provide expert legal representation to clients, including legal research, drafting of pleadings, and appearing in court as necessary.

Team Coordination:

Supervise and collaborate with a team of 2 support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient case management and high-quality client service.

Case Strategy:

Develop and implement legal strategies tailored to each case, utilizing your knowledge of personal injury law to achieve favorable outcomes.

Client Communication:

Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and addressing any concerns.

Professional Development:

Stay updated on changes in personal injury law and actively seek opportunities for continuing education and professional growth.

Qualifications:

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Licensure:

Admitted to practice law in Maryland.

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in personal injury law is preferred. We are also open to training defense attorneys or recent graduates with some personal injury experience.

Skills:

Strong legal research and writing skills, excellent negotiation and communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing a caseload effectively.
