Job Overview LightStone Law is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience to join our Business Practice Group. Responsibilities Draft, review and negotiate a variety of business and commercial agreements Assist clients with business formation, governance, restructuring and dissolution matters Support mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases, and other business transactions Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on corporate, commercial, and regulatory issues Assist with entity maintenance, corporate governance, and compliance matters Participate in due diligence for business transactions Advise clients on day-to-day legal issues affecting closely held businesses and entrepreneurs Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, accountants, lenders, and other professionals Contribute to business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to provide comprehensive legal solutions Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Admission to the Michigan Bar 1-5 years of experience in business, corporate, commercial, or transactional law Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Demonstrate initiative, sound judgement, and a collaborative mindset Preferred Qualifications Experience drafting and negotiating contracts Exposure to corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, commercial finance, or real estate transactions Experience working with closely held businesses, entrepreneurs, or family-owned companies Interest in developing client relationships and contributing to firm growth

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
