• $1,200,000 HKD We have an excellent new career opportunity with a leading P&I club who are looking to recruit in either Hong Kong or Shanghai for a Claims Handler to join their busy team and deal with P&I and FD&D related claims.

Duties will involve independently handling your own claims file, providing relevant support to members and brokers and also internally with Underwriters and the Loss Prevention team. The successful candidate will be a qualified shipping lawyer (Hong Kong, PRC, UK or common law jurisdiction) and will ideally have experience of P&I and FD&D claims by working for a P&I club, shipping law firm or shipping company. If you have strong claims experience working for another P&I club but are not legally qualified, then you are still encouraged to apply. The position will deal with a lot of Mandarin speaking clients, and as such, Mandarin language skill is essential. This opportunity can be based in Hong Kong or Shanghai and can consider applicants who are interested in gaining international experience and relocating to either location.
