As demand for the firm's estate planning and wealth preservation services continues to grow, they are looking to add an attorney who enjoys building long-term client relationships and providing practical, strategic counsel to individuals, families, business owners, and high-net-worth clients. The firm is open to considering candidates at the associate, partner, or of counsel level and can tailor the opportunity based on experience and practice goals.
Responsibilities:
Advise clients on estate planning matters, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and wealth transfer strategies Draft and implement sophisticated estate plans designed to preserve and transfer wealth across generations Represent high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners in estate planning and succession planning matters Guide clients through trust administration and probate proceedings Counsel trustees, personal representatives, beneficiaries, and fiduciaries regarding their rights and obligations Assist business owners with succession planning and closely held business transition strategies Collaborate with attorneys in the firm's business and real estate practice groups to provide holistic legal counsel Develop and maintain strong client relationships through responsive service and trusted legal advice
Qualifications:
3-10+ years of Trusts & Estates experience Experience drafting sophisticated estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts Experience advising high-net-worth individuals , families, and business owners on wealth preservation, asset protection, and succession planning strategies Experience handling trust administration, probate, and fiduciary matters Strong interpersonal, communication, and client relationship skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment Active Minnesota attorney license and good standing Why This Opportunity?
