This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal skills across multiple practice areas, including Immigration, Criminal Defense, Family Law (especially Divorce and Custody), and more. You will support the Lead Attorneys by conducting legal research, drafting documents, making Court appearances and engaging in client communication, while you develop a valuable skill-set in the above-mentioned Practice Areas. This position is ideal for recent graduates eager to gain comprehensive litigation and legal case management experience in a collaborative environment committed to professional growth. Responsibilities Conduct thorough legal research using FastCase, LexisNexis and / or Westlaw to support case strategies across diverse practice areas such as Immigration, Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, Domestic Relations (especially Divorce / Custody), and statutory legal research. Assist in preparing court depositions, legal motions, and trial documentation while ensuring procedural law compliance. Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and client correspondence with clarity and precision. Support trial preparation by organizing evidence, coordinating witness interviews, and managing case files efficiently. Participate in client meetings to gather information, explain legal procedures, and provide updates on case progress. Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather relevant facts for ongoing litigation or legal advisory services. Maintain accurate case management records and ensure timely submission of all legal documentation. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active Minnesota Bar admission Up to six months of post-bar experience or equivalent internship experience in a law office setting. Strong knowledge of procedural law, legal research methods, and litigation processes Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents. Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while adhering to deadlines.
