$100,000 + Quarterly Bonuses The Law Office of Wendell L. Hoskins II is seeking an attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join its Oxford, Mississippi office. The firm maintains a mixed practice that includes crop insurance and agricultural matters, general civil litigation, criminal defense, and other civil and commercial matters. The position offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas of law while taking meaningful responsibility for client matters. The associate will have the opportunity to handle cases from beginning to end, including client consultations, case evaluation, legal research, discovery, depositions, mediation, arbitration, motion practice, hearings, and trial preparation. The position will involve direct client contact and responsibility for managing assigned matters and deadlines. Litigation experience is preferred, but experience in any of the firm's practice areas will be considered. Qualifications Juris Doctor from an accredited law school 2-5 years of legal experience Licensed and in good standing with the Mississippi Bar Strong legal research and writing skills Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently Litigation experience preferred Compensation & Benefits Starting salary of $100,000 Quarterly bonuses Health insurance 401(k) Professional liability insurance
