Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Attorney with 3+ years of experience to manage real estate closings and small business matters, while providing key legal support to our estate planning and administration practice. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in real estate transactions and business law, alongside experience or interest in estate planning. Key Responsibilities:

Real Estate:

Manage residential and commercial closings from start to finish, including contract review, due diligence, title review, and preparation of closing/funding documents.

Business Law:

Prepare entities and foundational documents for small businesses, including Articles of Organization, Operating Agreements, and corporate governance documents.

Client & Partner Relations:

Provide clear, strategic legal advice to clients and maintain proactive communication with real estate agents, lenders, and key third parties.

Practice Support:

Proactively resolve title or transaction issues and collaborate with our primary estate planning and administration team on client matters as needed.

Compliance:

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of North Carolina real estate and business laws, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in North Carolina (in good standing).
• 3+ years of experience in North Carolina real estate and business law.
• Background experience or a strong foundational interest in estate planning and administration.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and client-facing communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate in a team-focused office environment.
