We are seeking a dedicated and motivated attorney to join our legal team. We are looking for an attorney with experience in Immigration Law, Criminal Defense, or both practice areas . The ideal candidate is professional, organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing quality legal representation and excellent client service. Position Overview The attorney will be responsible for managing cases, communicating directly with clients, preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, and representing clients in applicable court and administrative proceedings. This position will work closely with our attorneys, legal assistants, and management team to ensure cases are handled efficiently and deadlines are met. Responsibilities Manage and maintain an assigned caseload. Meet with clients and understand their legal needs and objectives. Provide legal advice and develop appropriate case strategies. Conduct legal research and analysis. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, applications, memoranda, and other legal documents. Prepare for and attend court hearings, immigration interviews, and other legal proceedings, as applicable. Represent clients before courts and/or immigration agencies, as applicable. Review case files and ensure deadlines and required filings are properly completed. Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, government agencies, and other parties. Work collaboratively with legal assistants and other members of the firm. Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date case files. Keep clients informed regarding the status and progress of their cases. Follow firm procedures and maintain professional standards of client service. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law and in good standing. Experience in Immigration Law and/or Criminal Defense . Strong legal research and writing skills. Strong communication and client-interaction skills. Excellent organization and time-management abilities. Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Professional, dependable, and committed to providing quality legal representation. Preferred Experience Immigration court experience. USCIS experience. Criminal court experience.
