In this role, you will draft and negotiate software, SaaS, licensing, and vendor agreements, advise on IP, data privacy, and cybersecurity, and help maintain compliance across jurisdictions. You will work closely with product, engineering, and sales teams, enabling innovation while managing risk. Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate commercial software, licensing, and Saa S agreements Advise business units on contract, IP, data privacy, and regulatory issues Support compliance with data protection, cybersecurity, and export laws Assist in developing contract templates, playbooks, and legal processes Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical guidance to stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage legal risk on tech projects Support dispute resolution and respond to legal inquiries and audits Deliver training on legal and compliance topics to internal teams Required Skills Commercial contract drafting and negotiation Software and Saa S licensing Technology transactions Intellectual property law Data privacy and protection (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) Cybersecurity and IT compliance Legal research and writing Regulatory compliance in tech sector Risk assessment and issue spotting Stakeholder communication and counseling
