The Lebanon Police Department is seeking a contracted, part-time prosecutor to join our prosecution team. This position involves prosecuting violation-level offenses at the district court level, conducing ALS hearings, adjudicating juvenile matters, and managing routine case paperwork and daily assignments. An ideal candidate would be an attorney with a strong background in law enforcement or a certified police officer with courtroom experience who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle sensitive legal matters with professionalism.   • Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • State of NH law license
  • Member in good standing of the NH Bar Association
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in criminal prosecution
  • Maintains NH law license in good standing and fulfills all continuing education requirements
  • Stays current on applicable areas of law and performs similar or related duties as needed Qualifications (Law Enforcement Track)
  • New Hampshire Certified Law Officer
  • Five (5) or more years of law enforcement experience in NH or a comparable state
  • Courtroom knowledge and experience
  • Strong understanding of NH laws and RSAs, with a commitment to staying current Professional demeanor in handling sensitive information and working with defendants, victims, and witnesses.
