Position:

Associate Attorney

• Insurance Defense We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our insurance defense team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury and property damage cases, with knowledge of product liability and professional liability being a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance defense cases
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters
• Participate in case strategy meetings and provide recommendations
• Assist with trial preparation and support lead attorneys during trial
• Keep up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations related to insurance defense 

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in the state where the position is located
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in insurance defense, specifically in personal injury and property damage cases
• Experience with product liability and professional liability cases is a plus
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously
