Location:
Chester Township, New Jersey. This role is primarily on-site, offering the benefits of close collaboration with an experienced legal team. Some hybrid flexibility may become available once established, depending on experience, performance, court obligations, and client needs.
Note:
Candidates must be active members in good standing of the New Jersey Bar and have 3+ years of recent, substantive New Jersey family law experience. You should be comfortable independently managing an active caseload and appearing in New Jersey Family Court. About Us Confidential Employer. Job Description Independently manage New Jersey family law matters from intake through resolution Represent clients in divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, domestic violence, and related proceedings Handle court appearances, conferences, motion practice, discovery, settlement negotiations, mediations, hearings, and case preparation Develop thoughtful case strategies and provide clients with clear, practical legal guidance Draft and review pleadings, certifications, agreements, settlement proposals, correspondence, and other legal documents Partner closely with paralegals and support staff to keep matters organized, responsive, and moving forward Maintain strong client communication while managing deadlines and a busy caseload Contribute to a professional, collaborative, and client-focused team culture Qualifications Active New Jersey Bar membership in good standing 3+ years of recent New Jersey family law experience Experience independently managing divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution, and related matrimonial matters Experience appearing in New Jersey Family Court Strong legal writing, negotiation, advocacy, case-management, and client-communication skills Ability to manage competing deadlines and an active caseload with sound judgment Professional, responsive, and collaborative working style Trial experience strongly preferred, particularly for more senior candidates Why You Will Love Working Here You will have the opportunity to practice family law at a high level without having to build a caseload from scratch. $105,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
